[SOLVED] My W key sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

It's a Redragon K557 Kala.
Prior to this everything worked fine.
Every other key works properly, but it's very hard to play FPS games without going forward.

Sounds like the micro-switch is bad. Either:
  • the keyboard is old and the w has had it's lifetime amount of presses reached
  • was not assembled correctly and the mechanical components are not making proper contact upon each press
  • faulty manufacturing that caused early breaking.

I would say try removing the key and investigating, in the end the issue is a physical one since this started happening a bit after initial purchase.
