My WD My passport hard drive doesnt work!!

My old WD external hard drive doesnt recognise on windows 10. I tried selecting a letter for it from disk management and it doesnt even show up there. It worked fine on windows 8 anf windows 7. I tried many trouble shooting attempts like installing tons of drivers and rebooting my laptop.
Someone please help me... i have lots of games i want to play in that hard drive....

Well, there is an "unknow device" appeared on other devices section on device manager.

which driver? windows 10 usually only work with windows 10 driver.

I had to install something called WD Drive Utilities first. My device wasnt detected by that so i tried installing drivers for my hard drive from other websites...

Some other softwares that scans for drivers.
But none of them were able to detect my hard...
Bytheway, is there any way i can make my device detectable?

I already tried those instructions. When i try updating it from my laptop (windows 10) it shows that it is searching for a software... I kept it like that for a hour.. but it seems windows cant find it. I have pretty good internet connections and this is what happens. One time i even tried installing net frame work 3.5 to play gta iv. The same way it shows that its searching for software but it does'nt seem that it finds anything...

Try different usb port?
I didn't see them offering windows 10 driver on their download page.

Plugin to the windows 8 machine and see what driver it using. Then plug in to the windows 10 laptop and see if you can change it to use the same driver.

you said it work fine on windows 8 and windows 7.
