My wife's desktop PC on start up gets as far as the picture to click to get to the password screen. The mouse doesn't work to get past the picture. Shut it down to restart and hit the F 2 button and the screen that comes up is asking what keyboard you want to use, Arabic, English, typewriter and the mouse will not work to get past this screen. It is now at the computer tech and he said this is a new one!!!!

Could you please explain the problem a little more clearly?

What is this "picture"? Are you talking about in Windows 10 the large picture that appears before you click the mouse which then reveals the password input box?

What happens on the picture if you hit any key on the keyboard or click the mouse? Nothing?

Lastly, does the mouse/keyboard work in the BIOS?

Are these USB keyboard and mouse? Have you tried plugging them into the other USB ports?
