My wifi button won't come on for my android tablet

The wifi button will not move to on. It stays on off and won't stay on. The wifi button is currently on off. When I slide it to on it will not stay but a message pops up stating turning on wifi. the button then moves back to off. Can I upload a picture to show you?

Try rebooting it, if that does not work, contact either the service provider or the vendor that made the tablet. It could be broken.
