Question My wifi is so much slower than advertised..

Our ISP is Cox, and we have Cox internet premier, and the speeds they advertise is 150mbps download and 10mbps upload. Those speeds should definitely run online games smoothly, like ROBLOX. However, I must remark that the average ping in most games are around 10k ping, which basically freezes up my game. Is there anything I can do? That speed you pay for from Cox only counts with a device wired directly to the router.
WiFi is a total crapshoot.

Your first test should always be to use a ethernet connection to verify the router and internet connection are working properly.

If it is a wifi problem you have very few options. it is the standard try other radio channels, try using 2.4g and 5g. Not likely to help much if you live in a high density area with lots of other wifi sources.
