My WiFi network isn't showing up after fresh install if Windows 10.

Hi. After reinstalling Windows 10 on my new SSD, My WiFi network will not show up. Yet plenty of other WiFi networks are shown, but not my own.I am using a WiFi adapter.

Also, Windows 10 seems to also be on my old HDD as well. Can I remove it safely.

It could be that you may need to install the drivers for your wifi adapter-I had that issue with my netgear ac620 as at first it would pick up only my neighbour's wifi but not my own until the driver package was installed.

I tried it, and while it did need an update, my network is still absent.

With your router-you haven't enabled wps setup by accident? Also your wifi channel-is it broadcasting on a standard channel such as 1-12 or are you using 13,14 etc

Actually after restarting my PC, it seems to have fixed it. So I believe it was the drivers, it just needed a restart. Thank you.
