I have a computer which has an 80 gig SATA HD and a 160 gig IDE HD in it. When I had the OS upgraded to Windows 7 somehow the tech installed some of the windows 7 files on one drive and some on the other drive. Ho do I get them all on one hard drive

Which files are on the HDD? If the second hard was in place when the OS was upgraded to Windows 7 it placed the system reserve partition on the HDD. To check this run diskmgmt.msc . Click on Start, type diskmgmt.msc in the search box and press enter. Which drive is the System Reserve partition on? There are a couple of different methods you can use to move the partition to the SSD drive. Do a Google search for "moving the system reserved partition". https://www.google.com/#q=moving+the+system+reserved+partition+windows+7
