I recently installed windows 7 on my 320GB HDD.. And it took up 110GB after using it for 3 days... And i had a few programs and games on it.. And it left me with 18Gb... And then my windows failed to boot..

I would reinstall win 7 again and make sure to use an antivirus program if you weren't already. (note, I would actually install win 10 instead of 7 as unless its a question of having no drivers, its the better choice right now)

Win 7 should not be anywhere near that size, win 10 only uses 19gb so no way Win 7 uses 5 times more. I also only have 100k files in Windows folder so there is something amiss with your install.

i dual boot my pc or 10 and 7 as i need 10s game features but like 7 better
but anyway if you are running a FEW programs if they are large programs that take up alot of space then 110gb is normal and did you download stuff from the internet?
or have a lot of photos or something on your pc?

Assume each photo weight 1MB then 110GB=110 000 MB/photos. That''s an obsession for having over hundred thousands of photos

it could be a music/video collection and that could seen easily eat 110gb, but he specified his windows folder, not the entire drive. User folders aren't counted in the windows folder, and that is where all the libraries should be.

If pc boots, you should run https://windirstat.info/ and see what is using most of the space

I reinstalled windows 7 completely. Completely formatted my drive. And it still does it. Still says 110gb used just from windows. And by a few games, I mean Like minecraft. Saints row iv, And outlast. All of them combined aren't even 20gb. I even formatted my drive and installed 8. And it was just fine... And a different install CD for 7..

run windirstat and see what it shows is being used.

also, what brand hdd is it? how old is drive? its possible the drive is losing space due to old age?

run the free trial of http://www.hdtune.com/ as well as http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskMark/index-e.html on the hdd and see how it performs

post a screen shot of those tests as well as a screenshot of your disk management screen, curious what hdd looks like.
