My Windows folder size is 50GB!!

Today I noticed that my Windows 7 folder size is about 50GB.

I checked and noticed that the C:\Windows\Installer folder contains about 17GB,
and the C:\Windows\winsxs folder size is 15GB.

Is it normal?, and if not, can I reduce somehow its size?

If you have automatic updates on right now it is pretty normal.

Windows has recently pushed the Windows 10 download to people's PC through auto-update...just in case you want to upgrade eventually. That's probably why you're noticing a bit of a bigger size.

I have windows 10 and the folder is only 15 Gb
Maybe u should consider upgrading to windwos 10 as it has smaller size, regardless if u have a problem now or not
