my Windows XP professional series was installed in my acer.I cant find any icons @allN

Mycomputer recently had this installed and I can't find any icons on the toolbar.I went to properties on the toolbar and the icons aren't there.

You shouldn't be using XP anyways.

Might I recommend Ubuntu?

You have to add some icons to the toolbar before they appear on their own. Right click the Taskbar at the bottom of the screen and go to Properties and amke any changes you want.

There's nothing wrong with using XP so long as you make sure Automatic Updates are turned off in Control Panel. Also make sure you have a strong anti-virus programme and that it is always up to date.
