So i just finished building a computer and I have a PCI-e n15 wireless local area network card. I connected it to the mobo and i just finished installing windows 7. There is a wps button on the wireless adapter, but when I press it nothing happens. I don't know what to do. my router is all the way across the house or else I would connect to internet with an ethernet cable. Everything is new, windows 7 is just installed, no drivers are installs/updated.

Here is your 32 bit driver for that adaptorPCE-N15.

Also the 64 bit driver: PCE-N15_64

Please confirm whether PC had installed antivirus...
I take it you have installed the driver yourself for the new wireless 300N network card.

If it is asking you for a wps pin number it can or should be found on the back of the router it`s self.
Providing you have not changed the default settings of the router.

Where you can change the wsp pin in some cases or disable it.

All information to access the router is located on the back on a sticker.
And should have the WPS number to enter when asked for.

When I press the wps button on the wireles adapter, nothing happens. It doesn't ask me to enter any pin at all. How would I download the drivers without internet connection. The wireless adapter didn't come with a CD or anything just ehe adapter and 2 antenna's.

Please confirm whether PC had installed antivirus software—“ZoneAlarm” or not.
There is compatibility problem with some wireless NIC (network interface card) and ZoneAlarm currently.
That will cause PCE-N15 to not be installed completely. Don't use PCE-N15 and ZoneAlarm at the same time.
