My Wireless Adapter Option Isn't even displayed among other options! Only one displayed: Local Area Connection

I have recently received a Windows 7 desktop, however while I was setting it up, I was unable to connect to my wifi. I attempted enabling my Wireless option in the "Change Adapter Settings", however it only displays this option:

"Local Area Connection"

I've attempted on finding a way to solve it, however no luck.
