My wireless connection icon has disappeared and cant connect

Hello,
I put my laptop on one day and my wireless has just dissapeared of my computer :S and ive checked network connections also , but its not there unfortunately so i cant even choose my home connection because its dissapeared

Check the wireless switch -- sometimes a physical switch on the side or front of the case, sometinmes an Fn key combination. See the laptop's manual.
