My wireless light does not turn on and I have no wireless access. Did my router go bad?

I have my router hooked up to modem, internet on laptop works when hooked up directly to modem. My wireless does not work, wireless light does not light up. Do I have a bad router. It all of a sudden went out, but other lights on router light up like internet, modem, router.

Very possible that your router goes bad, even, with the lights working the important thing (inside the router) could not be working. If your laptop connected directly to the modem works, that's another confirmation that your problems is the router.

Before replacing the router, simple try to switch it off and on again. Maybe even reseting it to factory default may help. I find it very unlikely to go bad all of a sudden. That rarely happens.
