My Xbox 360 wireless controller won't connect

So I just bought a Xbox 360 wireless controller for Windows, and I just got it today, since my PC don't have a CD/DVD reader, so I just downloaded the driver from official website, then I installed and restarted. Somehow I just can't get it to connects, the receiver was on, I tried to pressed the sync button from both the controller and the receiver, but it just keeps flashing the green circle. How do i solve this problem?

Are you pressing the large button on the top or the sync button on the bottom of the controller? Press and hold that little sync button for a few seconds while the hub is searching and you should connect.
