My xbox360 pro blew a light bulb on a Sony Grand Wega LCD Projection TV

i hook my Xbox 360 pro to my Sony Grand Wega LCD Projection TV after hours of playing my xbox,the light bulb blew up,i replace the light bulb on the tv,it does have a HDTV input on the back on the tv,so i hook my HDTV cable from the Xbox to the Projection TV and thats when the light bulb blew after hours of playing it,i have the cables for red,white,yellow but i'm worry if i try to hook up my xbox again will it harm the tv,is it safe to play my xbox 360 to my Sony Grand Wega LCD Projection Tv?

Light bulbs fail. How your send a signal to the "Sony Grand Wega LCD Projection Tv" should not change bulb life. Sorry you lost the bulb(s), they used to be quite expensive (I have not checked recently).

after my light bulb failed ,it stop the single and have a blinking light in the box as a reminder that light bulb need replace.But worry if i play my xbox on my Sony grand wega that my xbox will blow the light bulb again or harm it

Understand your concern. The light new bulb will eventually fail, but there is nothing special about the input from the xbox that will make it fail sooner. The light bulb is constantly on, it does not react to the signal from the xbox. The Sony WEGA takes the signal from the xbox and puts it on an LCD panel. The picture comes from the LCD panel that is between the light bulb and the lens.

Perhaps someone else can jump in and give an opinion, I think it's OK. Good luck whatever you end up doing.

(as an alternative, a note to SONY support asking if it is OK to play an xbox 360 on your Wega should also confirm that it is safe, and might make you feel more confortable about running this configuration).
