my xbox360 slim well not stay on what do i do

when i turn on my xbox it comes on for a few then shuts off the lighs come on green what do i do

If the console is shutting down at random and the light appears, you probably need to request a repair from Microsoft. If the light is slowing pulsating when you've initiated a shut down, the console is probably downloading content from Xbox Live. In this case, it will shut down completely when the download is complete.
