It takes like a minute or two for it to get to a brightness comparable to my other monitor. Is my monitor dying? 🙁 or

Is this a recent happening or has it always done this? If it has always acted like this, my guess would be that it takes it a bit longer to warm up and get going. If not, it may be the sign of a problem. If you've had it for under a year, I'd call the manufacturer and see what they have to say. They may replace for free if they think that it is dying.

Its fairly recent. If I turn it off and turn it back on shortly afterwards I think it is pretty bright. Its only when its off for a long time when it starts dim, then gets up to a good brightness. Its hard for me to say if its always been like this or not, previously it was my only monitor. Now I have two monitors and my other monitor doesn't have the same issue. The monitors are the same model. ASUS VH236H.
