Actally - I saw the Mars Volta live, it must have been approaching 2
years ago now, and its about the best gig I've ever been to. I'd never
heard any of their stuff at the time, all I knew is that they were
partially "At the Drive-In" and it was really superb. Deloused in the
Comatorium came out the following Monday week and I coughed up an
extortionate amount of money to get it, and it always reminds me of that
fantastic gig. Shame they stopped taking acid for Frances the Mute though...

Would love to have seen / see Sabbath though....

Yeah, Frances the Mute was pretty disappointing for me.
I had tickets to the sold out show at the Orpheum tomorrow night, but I
couldn't work up any enthusiasm for going, so Joe at the coffee shop on
Magazine got lucky.
