Myst 4 alternate ending? (MAJOR SPOILERS)

This is a question for those of you who've already completed Myst 4, like I
have.

I managed to finish the game, but the ending was rather sad. Both Sirrus and
Achenar died. Since previous Myst games have had multiple endings, I
wondered if there was perhaps a way to get a better ending, one where
Achenar survives.

Anyone know if such an ending exists, and if so, what do I need to do to get
it?

There is actually 3 different endings at the point where you have to pull a
lever. If you pull the Amber lever, it leads to Achenar's redeption and
death, which is the standard ending.

If you pull the silver lever, it will free Sirrus, who's inside Yeesha,
Achenar will be crushed by a Spirit stone, as well as your death, by
Achenar's crossbow.

If you do nothing, Sirrus will backstab Achenar (who dies) as well as
shooting you in the process, so pulling the Amber lever will lead to the
ending that should be more disireable than the other 2. But either way, poor
Achenar will die.
