Myst4 revelation will not install on vista

Hello: I installed Myst4 Revelation from dvd 3 years ago on Vista and it ran fine. Never did play it until now and it would not run so I uninstalled and reinstalled it on the same computer, however it will not accept Disk 2. I hope you can help! Thanks.

Hi:

The disc is in the same condition as when I first installed it 3 years ago; it's just been sitting in its case the whole time. I've read posts from other people having the same problem so I don't think it's just a damaged disc. Any other ideas would be very welcome! Thanks.

Hello All:

I finally bought another Myst4 (used) and just installed it, and it runs fine! I can't understand what could have happened to the one I bought (new) 3 years ago as it hasn't been out of its case the whole time, but that may remain a mystery; all the posts about needing a patch to install Disc2, or doing a firmware upgrade on the drive didn't apply to my problem and were just a coincidence. Thanks for the help and I'm sure I'll be back.
