Hi!
I built this system:
GIGABYTE Aorus GA-Z270X-Gaming 7
Intel Core i5 6500 32GHz Processor Silver
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Mini ITX OC 3G Graphics Card
Patriot 16GB Viper 4 DDR4 3200 MHz
Corsair Carbide Series Quiet 400Q Mid-Tower Case
Decklink Quad 2 PCIe
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB Internal SATA Solid State
WD Mainstream 3TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive
Thermaltake Smart DPS G 700W 80 Plus Bronze Semi-Modular Power Supply
Installed windows 10, been using system for extended periods over the last week with no apparent issues.
Today was using it for its intended purpose - vmix with 8 inputs - everything was going fine during the test. I decided to copy some recording clips to a thumb drive for testing.
When I went to remove the thumb drive from the top USB port on the case, I think I accidentally hit the power button. Suddenly, Windows says it's shutting down, which it does, and now the power button on the case doesn't work. The button on the motherboard which also can power up the system glows red (not blinking or pulsing) doesn't work either, and there are no other error indIcators.
I have tried removing the battery and pressing the reset and cmos clear buttons, still nothing.
How can I determine what's wrong?
Thanks!
