Just put together this PC with these components. It boots and lights up but shows a CPU error on motherboard debug. Also displays nothing on monitor. What do I do?

Also I attached a picture of the CPU power on the motherboard as there are two… I’m only plugged into one of them. Do I need two?

Second CPU power socket is required for top end power demanding CPU or serious overclocking. 5600X CPU in stock settings works fine with single 8-pin power socket and doesn't require additional power from second socket. One of my nephews use this CPU exactly in such way.

Are you sure that you have Mag B550 Tomahawk motherboard? This board have only one 8-pin CPU power socket CPU_PWR1.

Check out which board you have. And read the motherboard manual about CPU power sockets. Usually second socket is optional - then you can not worry about it.

What do you mean second power cord? For the processor? I don’t have a 4 pin power cord

If anyone could help i’d love you!!! I have no idea how to fix this issue.
