[SOLVED] N68-GS4/USB3 FX Asrock mobo work with a fx 8350?

I can stick at stock but want to overclock to 4.2, but I’ve read places that the tdp isn’t right on the board for the 8350, but iv only just read it and the parts have been delivered , is it safe and will the 8350 work with this board at stock and or overclocked , thanks in advance

Can you return them? The AMD FX series is horribly outdated and is greatly outperformed by even the Ryzen 1200.

The motherboard doesn't even support that CPU so you'll need to return it anyways.

Thank you nah I can’t return , it was a budget build from eBay parts , I just read the “supports 8 core am3” of the mobo and then iv just realised it does but not the 8350 due to power draw , so I’m going to have to buy another am3 motherboard that supports the 8350 of you can recommend any cheap that will support it, I’m just about to look online for one, but thanks for confirming

I can't check ebay on the computer I'm on now but find a cheap motherboard on there and then check the manufacturers site under CPU support list to make sure it's supported.

I still think it would be wise to sell your current parts and go Ryzen, you could probably find first Gen parts for cheap on ebay (1200/B350 MB/DDR4).
