So I just upgraded to Frontier Fios, 100 Up and Down.

I am currently running a actiontec mi424wr Router, double routed to my Cisco N900.

I am curious if anyone has used there own personal routers with Fios?

Is there anything I can watch out for?

I plan to drop the actiontec asap, and run a straight Cat 5E cable over.

Solution
Personally, I'd suggest getting the Quantum Gateway router for that FiOS.
That's what I did, and it was a major improvement over the original ActionTec mi424wr.

No secondary router needed.
@ USAFRet well I already have my N900, and it is a good router. I dont wanna drop an additional 150 on the quantom. I hear great things, but is it that the Quantom is that good, or is the Actiontec just that bad?

for just Wifi? My N900 is obviously 802.11N not AC, but I dont have anything that supports AC in my house, and I mainly use my Lan line. Not to mention my speed is only 100/100, so the 850/850 is kinda over kill... The N is rated at 450/450

My ActionTec had a WiFi cap at 20/20. My actual FiOS plan at the time was 50/50.
Currently, I have 75/75 from FiOS, and I get that almost everywhere in the house on WiFi.

The Quantum also brings a lot finer grained control than the original.
