With PC OEMs expected to increase their DDR2 penetration rates to 80% by the end of this quarter, Taiwan memory maker Nanya Technology predicts that the DDR2 shortage should increase to 30-40% in February, with related contract prices growing more than 10%, according to company spokesperson, Pei-lin Pai.
