I'm looking reliable, good performing and quiet storage drive for photos, videos, projects and backups. I'm not using NAS-system. Ironwolf, Red+ and Blue (cmr) costs same unless I choose Blue smr. Can propably pay little extra for Gold or Black (if blacks noise is really that bad than many people say, not an option then). Been thinking to buy Red+ but how bad idea is it to use NAS drives as normal drive and any suggestions which drive i should choose?

Not a bad idea at all.
Nor a good idea.

It is a hard drive.
There really isn't a lot of difference.

The singular device in your system is no more or less likely to die as any other make/model.

It will work just fine.
Keep good backups.
