[SOLVED] NAS drive doesnt show up in Windows

Hi!
At home i run Synology nas with WD red HDD's. Today i took out the hdd to bring it to a friends house to add some tv shows to it. I replaced his hdd with my own using the same cables, but some how the hdd doesnt show up on the computer. I can see it in disk management but cant do anything with it. How come it doesnt show up? Any ideas?

Thank you, atleast that made the disc show up. But i cant seem to find the files i have on the hdd?

Probably. Does that mean theres nothing to do except putting it back in my NAS and transfer the files that way?

Did you have the drives in the NAS configured as a Raid array?
