NAS drive shows up for Mac but doesn't for Windows

Hello! I have Buffalo LinkStation duo NAS drive. I had to configure it for my new router again. The problem is that after reconfiguring it, it doesn't show up in Windows Explorer under Network section as it did before the reconfiguration. I have also MacBook Air and weirdly it detects it and shows it up in Finder. What would be the problem?
Name of the NAS is "Verkkotaltio1" and it has 2 folders: TimeMachine and Share.

This unfortunately is an issue in widows. Go to the Start Menu and in the search box type in \\NAS ip address. Like \\192.168.1.100 or what your ip address is. After a while the nas will start showing up in the network area.

I was just dealing with this problem and it was driving me crazy!! However, I found a solution through a number of steps. Of course you have to Map Network Drive in order to get it to show up under Network. However, I was getting to a login screen and then it would just refuse my correct credentials!

1) Put my PC in the same Workgroup as the NAS
2) Make the PC discoverable on the network. (explanation below)

I'm on Windows 10 and it was under Settings > Network & Internet > Ethernet > Ethernet Connected (click it) > (toggle) On.

What you're turning on is, "Allow your PC to be discoverable by other PCs and devices on this network. We recommend..." I had previously turned on Network Discovery under Network and Sharing Center > Advanced sharing settings as well.

I confirmed my login was correct a million times but that was not the issue. Man this was frustrating! Hope this helps someone else.
