NAS HD streaming capable?

I was thinking of purchasing this item for a NAS:

I've heard that in streaming video to another computer, it is generally the RAM and HDD of the NAS that comes into play instead of the CPU and GPU (this item has pretty crappy versions of both). I guess that makes sense as the receiving PC would be the system decoding the video rather than the NAS. Anyway, what do you think of this item's capabilities?

With FreeNAS, Openfiler and SPM394... NO commercial NAS can beat it in term of cost performance!
