First thread here. My last thread got deleted after I activated my account.
I already have HDD's, 3x WD Red and one Intel SSD.
I need to upgrade my NAS, it's running Linux at the moment but I would like to use ZFS maybe nas4free. Anyhow I don't have any space issues so a micro atx och ATX motherboard is fine.
I'm going to use encryption so I can't use the absolute slowest CPU and it will also host other small services besides the NAS, but nothing CPU intensive.
What do you guys think, should I go for AM3+ with AMD FX 6300 or FM3+ with AMD A8 7600?
