I am to those nasty walrus things that have guns for arms. How the
hell do you kill them? I thought one was bad enough and trying to run
in circles and shoot at it I found another one, I can't handle two at
once! Gah!

Just get out your biggest weapon, and bam. You'll be pleased to know that
there's actually three (for the medium difficulty level)

Yep. It takes about 4 direct hits with a rocket, to bring one down.

Just after you kill the HellKnights and get the PlasmaGun in "Hell"
you work your way to a large arena with a walrus waiting for you. If
you snatch the 'goodies' in the plaza and go back down from where you
came you can creep up and get an angle where you can see him but he
can't shoot at you. About 20 pistol shots will finish him off.
There's two more Walruses you can trick into the same situation.
There's even a HellKnight you can get the same way, but its harder.
One of my favorite parts of the game.

I forgot about that.. I did the same thing in hell. had to use rockets the
first time i came aross then in the realy big green looking room.

If you have to ask ... just give up now.
Those guys are so easy to kill.

Stick to Doom and Doom 2, this way you won't get so frustrated.

bollocks - I've had that bastard with 5 rockets and a clipfull
of chaingun - some walruses are more difficult thani others....

I had trouble getting them with the rockets unless they were already
weakened. I found that a clip of the chaingun to the head will take them
out, but trying to tackle 3 with 120 rounds was not going to be easy. I
started that level over and found another box of ammo.

Later I was able to take some out with rocket head shots, but maybe my
aim was better by then (or easier dealing with one at a time).
