Hi, I'm looking at buying a projector (mainly for videos and gaming) and I found one that's super cheap. It has an LED back light lasting 2 years, a 7" display and it can project up to 120" without getting blurry. It's just the 7" display has a NATIVE resolution of 1280x800*. The star is what got me. It says "Supports WVGA, XGA, WXGA/1080p, 720p, 768p etc." but I don't know if it's really 1080p or just 800p stretched to 1080p.
Please, can somebody explain to me what a native resolution is as opposed to a supporting one?
Here is the projector I found: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/400431530640?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D400431530640%26_rdc%3D1

Thanks! :)

Solution
Compresses the 1080p video to 800p.

7" display? I don't see any mention of that.

Also, it doesn't support anything other than red/green 3D - not really 3D IMO.

I'd run a mile.

A native resolution is what's physically etched into the LCD that the light is shone through. Any other resolution is merely scaled up/down or cropped to fit this.
