How about Norton Anti Virus updates without having to subscripe for LiveUpdate for every machine on your home/smalloffice network???
With 5+ machines on my home/office LAN I'm gettin hit with a $9.95 subscription fee each time a Virue Definition Subscription expires. Ya, 10 Bucks per machine/per year isn't that bad, however, is there any way to get Virus Definition uppdates without a subscription?
Surely there's a way to get a current/updated VDF(VirusDefinitionFile) and blast it thru the LAN yourself? And actually - what is the VDF FileName?
(Guess I've been using NAV and LiveUpdate the easy way so long I've been both hooked and lured into complacency!)
