Hello all. I reinstalled Morrowind, Blood Moon and Tribunal on my pc and am
currently running through the main plot.

I've got a letter of introduction from Hasphat of the Balmora fighters guild
to go to Nchuleftingth. I've found the place but on the bridge outside the
entrance is a huge steam centurion. This one is twice the size of a normal
steam centurion, moves fast as anything and kills in 2 hits. I got past it
ok but leading it away, but my question is:

Whats with this quardian and does anyone know why its not in the x-box
version. My wife is playing the game of the year edition while I play the PC
version. She is doing the letter of introduction quest the same as me but
there was no guardian.

The Mods I'm running are MW01, Shatki's book of secrets, the Temple Fences
and my own Mod which turns night-time into realistic night-time.

You've got another add-on installed. There are no steam centurions outdoors
in the standard game outside of those that guard the Telvanni stronghold.

How does this home grown mod turn night time into realistic night
time?

Its not a Mod in the sense that its created by the construction set. I went
into the config file and under weather conditions I turned the ambient
colour for all night-time weather conditions to black (000,000,000). I've
had to add a few lights around the cities with the construction set and
slightly increase the area of effect for lanterns so that they perform a
function other than just decoration but IMO the effect is excellent. For
example, Balmora now at night has dark alleyways and corners for the seedier
characters to hang out in. I had to add lightposts for the bridges and silt
strider port as well.

This does not affect light indoors either, just outdoors.

What did you do to make the nighttime seem more realistic?

Whoops, I saw somebody else ask the same question and you've already answered
it. Silly me 😀

The bridge is guarded by a guy who is either a sorcerer
or a mage. He will conjure some sort of monster against
you while he stands in the rear, with magic support.
I usually met bonewalkers, but it may change, according
to statistical change and the level of your character

Your mods do not seem to support the theory, that any
of them has introduced the guardian. So my guess is
that it is conjured up by the sorcerer and that is is
geared to the capability of your character, as defined
by the level. If that is the case, strong dispel-, reflect-
or silence-spell will be useful.

Combining chameleon-, shield- and paralyse-spells
is another way

I found out what was doing it. I had got Morrowind Advanced installed from
when I had Morrowind on the computer previously. I had not uninstalled the
mod when I uninstalled Morrowind the first time.
