NCIX says incompatibility?

NCIX says that Intel Core i7 4790K Unlocked Quad Core HT 4GHZ/4.4GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 8MB Cache is incompatible with Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink ? I never seen that incompatibility before. I even remember seeing people say they use the 212 evo with the 4790k..hm.

They are wrong.

CPU Socket Intel Socket:
LGA 2011-3* / 2011* / 1366 / 1156 / 1155 / 1150 / 775

AMD Socket:
FM2+ / FM2 / FM1 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2

So everything from http://pc.ncix.com/ncixpc_new/ncixpc.cfm?uuid=EAB9B239-2262-472D-947103BE38800BE7-6238167#PCTop is compatible together and such right. enough power, no bottlenecks, all run smooth ect...? They will be able to build it and It will work. (I'm putting my 970 I have at home atm into it when I comes btw, that's why no GPU is selected).

OK the only thing that would stop them from being compatible is the mounting bracket. If the Cooler does not come with the 1150 socket mounting bracket it could cause the incompatibility labeling to pop up.

According to Newegg the Evo comes with a compatible 1150 mounting bracket. Other than digging in my storage an looking at the box I would say "as long as it is a new release version" it will work. When I purchased mine it was not compatible with the 2011 socket and needed a different bracket that they eventually included in the box.

The only one not always included is the new 2011 socket , but they will send you one if needed.

1150 should be in the current ones being sold.

Looking over your build it all looks compatible. I'm glad you selected the Sesonic PSU over the corsair CX PSU's.

NO the GPU's will not go together. you selected a 970 and a 980 they need to be the same.
