Hi Everyone!
I saw the diy projector article and decided to have a go at it. I went to eBay and purchased a NEC 1510v but it comes without a power supply. I thought this would be ok assuming it would take the usual 12v DC connector but it doesn't!! It takes what I have been told is a DIN plug?! I've searched google and can't find anywhere that sells them. Actually I found one place but they wanted £95 and considering I only paid £10 for the screen itself I thought it would be a bit stupid to pay that. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these or knows where to get one(NEC part number LA15-AC). Even advice on how to convert a normal psu to a DIN plug would be appreciated. I must admit though I have absolutely no electronics skills!

Thanks in advance!
Greg

Please note I'm in the UK so a 240V psu is needed.

Hi all,
I am in the same boat with you Greg. I bought a job lot of TFT screens only to discover these funny din adapters which doesn't seems to exist anywhere.
You actually read my mind when you asked if anyone could help with info re converting din plugs to normal ones or at least the round pin.
I am also in UK and therefore 240v as well.
Cheers
Lawrence
