I have NEC Accusync 90 and I bought it used. I've had it for about 2 weeks and when I got on today the screen was flickering. The guy I bought it from says its only a year old but on the back it says it was manufactured in May of 2000! I have tried all different resolutions and frequencies and nothing helps. Any advice?

Could be a refurb is guy is telling the truth. Or could have just been old stock, that is a lot old though for stock.
If this guy is a dealer, get if fixed under his warranty, even refurbs have at least a 30-day warranty.
Check all your connections, even your video card. Remove and replace it to verify it is seated firmly. Check your res and refresh rates that they match monitor specs...

and Then....
If you bought it from just a guy, try NEC and hope they warranty it, if not SOL...
PS, hope you got a good deal on it...

Nevermind, I guess it was just my speakers. They were about a foot away but I guess that wasn't far enough. If I move them back about 2-3feet away from my monitor my monitor doesn't flicker anymore. Thank god...but I hope I haven't damaged my monitor :|, I also set the refresh rate to 160hz at 1024x768, I'm sure that didn't help, I only had it at that for about 2min. Do you think I might have damaged it? The max refresh rate at 1024x768 is 120hz, so I didn't go over a whole bunch like if the max was 85hz.

I doubt any damage was done to the monitor. If there was perminant damage you would see noticable discoloration on the screen, like if someone ran a magnet over the screen :)
