Im sure it is great monitor but by looking at price and current time : in 2016 i think this monitor should have 4k or better 5k screen.

Typing this at work on 5k iMac. Have 1440p monitor at home . Difference in sharpness and overall image quality is HUUUUGE.

I know this is pro monitor with little extras but for the price there must be better options with decent 4k monitors out there.

I doubt many will pay for this high priced monitor, the bells and whistles aren't enough for me to fork over six hundred over my acer xb270.. I am not switching until a monitor is drastically different..

In a 16:9 format, 27" or larger are ideal for desktop computing work, due to the need for vertical height. When I recently wanted an upgrade for a 24" 16:10 screen, only a 30" monitor would have given an appreciable gain...except for the fact that there are now several 32" 2560x1440 monitors available, at less than half the cost of 30-inchers. I went with a 32" BenQ BL3200PT and couldn't be happier. QHD resolution is perfect at that size, the same pixel size of 1920x1200 in 24", (which is roughly the same as 4k resolution in a 43" screen...which monitors will probably get to eventually).
