Can someone help me please! I just bought an old PC with NEC MS-7594MA motherboard with Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz. Can't seems to find compatible 4 core cpu for this motherboard.
That board uses the G45 chipset, which supports any of the Core 2 Quad processors.
I did do some research on 2 Quad processors, but the wattage are different. E7500 which I have it on old pc is 65 W but the 2 Quad processors I have looked at are 95 to 100 W. Does it matter? For Example, this Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 [Power]: 95 W. I am pretty new to desktop pcs and motherboards. I have used laptops only before I purchased this old pc.
Yes, you are correct, but this should not matter on the board that you have.
I can recommend using a good 3rd party cooler instead of the Intel one, and making sure that your airflow is good to counter the extra heat produced.

Thank you very much for your help. One more question. Which 4 core CPU do you recommend?
The Q6600 was the crowd favourite in its day: Good performance and easy over-clocking. Am pretty sure you'll be able to find one of those about.
The Q9000 series will give you the best performance.
