reply to it:

Unfortunately, this group is Packard Bell and although NEC bought out the old Packard Bell
corporation I am not sure if many folks here know or have that type of information. You could try
http://www.nec.com and see if they list it. You may even be able to try Priority One Support which
handles the Packard Bell systems http://www.priorityonesupport.com or as a last resort you can try
the search engine at http://www.google.com which came back with this:
http://support.necsam.com/downloads/search/default.htm?CIRestriction=454

It has a searchable box which may help you. You can also try http://www.driversguide.com you have
to sign up (free) and it also has a searchable database.

I Hope I helped?

I did a bit of research and posted there (no reply). I did get some
info out of the archives, some conflicting. I'll use the trial and
error method. Unfortunatly the machine is not at my home but my
mothers. Thanks again. hw

I have a recovery cd that came with the ready 9905 series from NEC. Send
me an email and I can get you a copy of it if you haven't already given
up.

Would it be possible for you to determine the path on the NEC Ready 9905
Recovery CD that will start a full restore with format? Mine will not
show the start menu.
I've tried several executable files, but they don't do the trick.
Thanks.

What is the number on the Master CD may just be able to cross reference it

I am not familar with that unit
Will it boot from the master cd
Do you have any other software that came with the unit

Marcie, My name is Mike and I need a copy of the Ready 9905 Recovery CD as well. I tried to email you to ask you for a copy through the site but it says your email is not subscribed. Please tell me what I need to do to contact you to get the cd. Thank you.
