Regards to all,
I have a configuration,
CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x
Motherboard: ASUS TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING (Latest BIOS version)
I lost/die RAM memory DDR4 2x8GB 3333MHz CL16 Kingston HyperX Predator (HX433C16PB3K2/16) - (It worked for about 3 years) -
•JEDEC: DDR4-2400 CL17-17-17 @1.2V
•XMP Profile #1: DDR4-3333 CL16-18-18 @1.35V
•XMP Profile #2: DDR4-3000 CL15-17-17 @1.35V
Then I bought a new 32GB RAM and took the Patriot Viper Steel Series DDR4 32GB (2 x 16GB) 3200MHz Kit PVS432G320C6K.
• Capacity: 32GB (2 x 16GB)
• Base Frequency: PC4-17000 (2133MHz)
• Base Timings: 15-15-15-36
• Tested Frequency Profile 1: PC4-25600 (3200MHz)
• Tested Timings: 16-18-18-36
• Tested Voltage for Profile 1: 1.35V
With a 32GB Patriot memory, the occasional bsod is within 20 minutes and sometimes the computer is stable for 5-6 hours.
I haven't been able to set it to be stable, I even think a BSOD at the default 2400MHz happened to me a couple of times.
BSOD mostly happened to me when I finished a test, like I load the computer for 10 minutes (prime95), I turn off the test and when a minute / two passes, a bsod happens.
Also BSOD happened when I left the computer in idle.
My question is which RAM to buy for my configuration, and can I avoid problems (I mean something like the old kingston) by buying a frame from the same manufacturer with the same latencies ??
Some of these spec: 3000 to 3200MHz CL16 or CL17
I would like to buy: HX432C16FB3K2/32
Thanks!
