Hello,
How do I choose the correct RAM for my desktop?
I have a Dell Dimension 4100 desktop w/ windows xp & it needs 512mb more RAM to be installed. how can I be certain that I am buying exactly what my computer needs?

Go to crucial.com and enter your dell model number. They guarantee their ram to work. You can buy the ram elsewhere if you desire. Crucial is the most common brand I've seen on oem systems. You can also pull the ram stick out and check the label for info and match it.
