i have an P4VD2-VM motherboard from ASUS and i want a 8GB RAM. Can i have 8GB RAM which is compatible with my motherboard and when, which ?

You will need to upgrade , as stated above in my post that board has a max of 4gb.

Ge some current components and some DDR3 to go with a new build.

Buy a new motherboard, and make sure to get a cpu compatible with it.
