Hi,

Need some help with an upgrade on a secondary computer I have. What would be a better graphics card that this system can handle without changing the motherboard and chipset?

Thanks =)

System Info:
Motherboard Chipset: AMD 760G
CPU Socket Type: AM3+
Processor: AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz
Processor: 64 bit Quad-Core Processor
Cache Per Processor: 4 MB L3 Cache
Memory: 16GB DDR3 1600
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R5 230 1GB
Power Supply: 850W

Solution
Can you suggest a card that would be an upgrade and wouldn't limit performance?
anything more powerful than the Radeon R5 230 would be an upgrade.

limit performance? not much to worry about there.
the rest of the components are already going to have pretty "limited" performance.
when that CPU was released ~10 years ago, it was already a low tiered CPU.

Thanks, Not going to be used for anything high end really. No shooters or anything like that. Can you suggest a card that would be an upgrade and wouldn't limit performance?

Basically, you can go up to about a 1050 Ti. Beyond is fairly pointless. Even that's a bit of a stretch, one could argue that a GT 1030 is where any upgrade should stop.

Given how cost ineffective GPUs are at the moment, it's hard to justify upgrading a secondary PC right now without very specific needs.
