Need a bit of help

I just bought a Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro 2 and AMD Athlon XP 2800+. I've installed it all and got it up and running. Here's my question. When it boots up it says that it is running an AMD Athlon 1250MHz. If I'm not wrong a 2800+ should be running around 2GHz. Is this just the motherboard not recognizing it as 2800+ and the CPU is running correctly or do I have a problem?

Just go into the bios and set the cpu fsb to 166. It should be under "frequency/voltage control". You might also be able to get it running at 200 for some overclocking.
