Need a compatible motherboard

I have a gigabyte ga-h61m-ds2 that seems to have fried out. Nothing happens when I push the front panel power button and the power supply tested OK on the multimeter. The computer is otherwise dead.

I'd like to just swap in another motherboard but don't know which would be compatible with my western digital 500gb (wd5000AAKX) hard drive and i5 processor....but I don't know how to get the specs for the i5.

Any thoughts?

I presumed you bought a Micro ATX motherboard because of your case.
