Processor- i7 2600k
Motherboard- Asus p8p67 pro
Gpu - Msi Gtx 1060 gaming x 6g

as you have a k series processor I would get the fastest you can afford to get. the K series is meant for overclocking and matching it to a low speed RAM is like shooting yourself in the foot. if you had a locked processor or have no plans to overclock I would suggest 1600. 2200 is an oddball speed but 2133 should be easier to find

your system REQUIRES DDR3
DDR3-1600 is the fastest supported speed before overclocking
look for a matched pair of sticks, DDR3-1600 with the lowest CAS speed you can find

Hi, im bit late but can you suggest something good. in the asus compatibility page it mentioned "DDR3 2200(O.C.)" does that mean i can oc any ram to 2200 or is it the compatible speed.
 
it means it can support that speed RAM by overclocking the memory controller. whether the RAM can run at the faster speed is something else altogether.

if you buy DDR3 2200, the motherboard is capable of running it at its stock speed, versus the chipset suggested maximum if 1600 or whatever it actually is.
