Question, the following pc build I have below I truly want to make changes to with a $500 budget. I’m using this pc for adobe software, corel painter, Maya, 3D studio max, and other digital art / creation software.

Ryzen 9 3950x with ninja scythe 5 cooler
X570 gigabyte arous elite motherboard
ballistix sport lp 16gb ram @ 2 8gb running 2666 mhz

Thinking of upgrading to gskill ripjaw V ram of 4 sticks 8gb ddr4 ram @ 32oo mhz totaling 32gb ram and either upgrading to a NVIDIA 2070 super, Radeon 5700 / xt or Vega Frontier edition gpu ... What you guy's think is truly best...

Four DIMMs is a worse idea than two 16GB DIMMs. Ryzen is a dual channel CPU. It is more difficult to get 4 DIMMs to run at high clock speeds. It is also unpredictable what adding another two DIMMs will do with your existing RAM. They may not play nicely together.

Since you're running an AMD CPU, the speedier RAM you can use the better. It makes a big difference compared to Intel platforms.

If you want to keep all your hardware AMD-based for whatever reason, the 5700 XT should serve you well. As a bonus, both your X570 motherboard and the 5700 XT suppore PCIe 4.0 which might have performance benefits of some kind, although I am not sure how important PCIe bandwidth is in productivity/creativity software. If that doesn't sound useful to you, the 2070 Super is faster and probably worth the extra $ IMO.
