need a Core 2 duo compatable MOBO

im looking for a core 2 compatable mobo that supports SLI and is not crazy expesive..

would this bourd do SLI? review says no but why not,, here

If you have to get your mobo right now I'd look at Asus P5NSLI. However that is based on the nvidia 570 chipset.

Myself I think I'll wait a little bit for the 590 chipset boards to become available.

any idea what the 570 will close when its releised, and when it will come out, im waiting to build until MOBO prices and CPU prices drop down a little,

so, without illigal drivers its impossible to get a 7900 running in SLI? damn that sucks i was planning to do SLI a couple months after xmass
